Insurance Coverage: Medical-Surgical, Hosptialization, Major Medical, Dental Plan, Optical Plan, Prescription Plan, Podiatry, Life, Malpractice, Pension Plan, Long-Term Disability

Tuition: Full reimbursement for successfully completed courses in nursing, at the college of your choice, with proof of matriculation and 6 months' employment prior to semester (Education benefit covers nursing through Master's level at an accredited nursing program)

Weekends: Off every other weekend

Vacation: 22 paid days per year; 25 paid days after 5 years

Holidays: 8 paid holidays per year; 4 paid personal days

Sick: 12 paid sick days per year accrue up to 60 days; 10 days max. reimbursed if not used

Orientation: Performance Based Development Systems; Competency Based Laboratory

Inservice: Organized education programs available to staff; Basic Life Support Certification is provided as needed

Continuing Education: $350.00 per year, paid time-off to attend professional, clinically-related conferences

St. Luke's Roosevelt:
Insurance Coverage: Begins on the first day of the following month after date of hire: Medical-Surgical, Hospitalization, Major Medical, Dental Plan, Optical Plan, Prescription Plan, Podiatry, Life, Malpractice, Pension Plan, Long-Term Disability

Tuition: Full reimbursement of maximum of 18 credits a year for successfully completed course in nursing, at the college of your choice, with proof of matriculation and 6 months' employment prior to semester

Weekends: Off every other weekend

Vacation: 20 paid days per year; 25 paid days after 5 years

Holidays: 8 paid holidays per year; 4 paid personal days

Sick: 12 paid sick days per year; accrue up to 90

Orientation: Competency Based Model

Inservice: Organized education programs available to staff; Basic Life Support Certification is provided as needed

Continuing Education: Paid time-off to attend professional, clinically-related conferences

Long Island College Hospital:

Tuition: Reimbursement up to 16 credits or $8,000.00, whichever is less. Eligible after one year of service

Vacation: 4 weeks after one year of service; 5 weeks after 5 years of service

Holidays: 8 paid holidays per year; 4 personal days

Sick: 12 days per year

Orientation: Competency Based

Inservice: Organized education programs available to staff; Basic Life Support Certification is provided as needed

Continuing Education: Employer reimburses up to 16 credits or $8,000.00, whichever is less for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree program

Sick: 12 paid sick days accrue up to 72 days

Orientation: Performance Based Development Systems; Competency Based Laboratory

Standard Hours: 37.5 hours per week; full-time
Salary (Based on experience): (0-3 years)  $77,084.80
(3-6 years)  $79,982.24
(6-10 years)  82,300.40
(10+ years)  $86,937.24
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000.00 ($2,500.00 paid upon hire; balance paid upon completion of probation)
Shift Differential: 10% of salary – evenings or nights
Insurance Coverage: Medical, Hospitalization, Dental, Optical, Prescription – all through Local 1199 benefit fund – benefit level based on earnings
Pension: Through Local 1199
Life Insurance: Through Local 1199
Weekends: Off every other weekend (full-time employees)
Vacation: 20 paid days per year (pro-rated if part-time); 25 vacation day after 25 years)
Holidays: 8 paid holidays per year; 4 paid personal days per year (prorated if part-time)
